ROGER WALLENSTEIN has worked with young people for 40 years as a teacher, camp director, coach, and volunteer. After being a faculty member at Francis Parker for nine years, he and his wife Judy, also a Camp of Dreams board member, owned and directed Camp Nebagamon in the North Woods of Wisconsin for 15 years. Nebagamon is a venerable overnight boys camp, founded in 1929, with campers from throughout the United States and a number of other countries. Roger and Judy's ownership of Nebagamon concluded in 2004. Since then he has served on the board of Notre Dame High School for Girls and the Advisory Committee to the Dean of Education at Loyola University. He coached high school summer baseball at Welles Park for seven summers and also writes a weekly baseball column for Beachwoodreporter.com.
